This is my first experience in blogging. I created a blog that is private to the classroom. On this blog I will post teaching techniques and good teaching information. Creating this blog has been interesting so far.
After reading up on how blogs work I could use a blog in the classroom. Blogs can help you interact with your students. You can post notes and assignments and also reminders to students. For my future students I would let them create blogs so that they could stay connected to the classroom and each other. The activity would consist of creating the blog and how to share information on the topic we are learning about. I would encourage the students to help each other out. My learning goals for the lesson would be how the set up a blog, what information is appropriate for the blog, how to add and respond to one another, and how to use the blog in our lesson. To track what they have learned I would have them blog about their experience making a blog and have them respond to blogs I have made for the lesson.
